Yoga classes at the Quaaout Lodge

Whether you are a guest staying at the resort, or live in the area, we welcome you to join our yoga instructor for an invigorating and rejuvenating class.

AFLCA and Can-Fit-Pro Certified Fitness and Yoga Instructor Candi Beamish relocated to the North Shuswap last November.  With 16 years’ experience as a fitness instructor with the City of Calgary, Candi is committed to providing classes suitable for all fitness levels.

Physical Yoga concentrates on the physical postures of Yoga (the third limb), with special attention to anatomical alignment, with the use of props and modifications to assist the participant in the poses.  Candi favours this form of Yoga as it is suitable for all fitness levels and is designed to improve strength, balance, and flexibility.  Benefits also include relaxation, and the release of stress and tension.  Yoga is for everybody no matter their fitness level.  Candi is able to teach Basic Yoga as well as specialized yoga classes for golfers, runners, those needing back care, and restorative yoga for those recovering from injury.
